2016 is a year of new trends and old traditions, and cruise ships have been a favorite for people who want to escape to exotic places for years. Holland America is one of the oldest cruise lines still popular today. The Westerdam is a medium sized ship that takes boarders through the tropical seas. The voyage embarks from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and travels to the sands of the Grand Turks in the famous Turks and Caicos Islands, to San Juan in vibrant Puerto Rico, to St. Thomas in the stunning U.S. Virgin Islands, to Half Moon Cay in the renowned Bahamas. The ship has an authentic B.B. King’s Blues Club, and guests can try out their moves in the family fun that is the “Dancing with the Stars at Sea” dance contest. Culinary aficionados will delight in the Culinary Arts Center found on board.
1. Carnival Dream
Finally, Carnival Cruise Lines introduces Carnival Dream, a family friendly cruise that offers guests one of the best cruises in 2016. The ship departs from New Orleans, Louisiana and heads out to spectacular Montego Bay in Jamaica, then travels to the celebrated city of Grand Cayman in the Cayman Islands before going over to historical and tourist friendly Cozumel, Mexico.
